DSL-1504G Bridge Mode Quick Setup

1.1 Configure DSL-1504G CO

   (1) Open IE browser, enter https://192.168.0.1, click “Yes” continue.

(2) Enter user name “root” and password “admin”, click “OK” into configuration page

(3) lan configuration  (Basic configuration-LAN-configuration)

(4) setup atm channel ( Basic configuration – WAN-ATM Channel)

(5) Click “Create New Channel”

(6) Encapsulation is RFC2684-bridged, click “Apply”

(7) Setup DSL (Basic configuration - DSL)

 setup   “Service Type” is “CO/2wires”

 Click “Apply”

(8) Setup Bridge Interface

Click “Create New BVI”

 

Click“Apply”

 Click “Bridge Index” bellow’s number

Click “Available member to add to bridge” -“lan(+)”,click “OK” continue

Click “Available member to add to bridge” -“atmVc1(+)”

Save configuration (Admin-Save Configuration)

DIR 600L Reset Issue Fix

Follow the instruction given below given to fix the resetting problem on your D'Link DIR-600l (hw: b1) :

• Click Download to get your update file.
• Connect to your dlink router via wired lan cable
• Open the gui(default : 192.168.0.1)
• Click Maintenance > Firmware > Browse the firmware file and upload.

After successful upload, power cycled your device and reconfigure your isp settings to connect to the internet.

DSL-2730U Device Hang Issue Fix (TR-069)

This is a fix to the issue faced by D'Link DSL-2730U where the router suddenly stops responding and all the led's are stable. 

The temporary solution to this is to power cycle your DSL-2730U. But we have a permanent solution to the following problem on the device. Please follow the instructions give below to resolve the issue :

• Login into the gui of the device
• Username : admin
• Password : admin / leave the password field blank
• Click Advanced tab > Network Tools > TR-069

ACS configuration, change the settings as below :

• Uncheck the checkbox next to enable
• Change the url to http://acs.dlink.com
• Select Periodic Table Inform Enabled : DISABLED

Change the connection request settings as shown below :

• Username : D-link
• Password : D-link1234
• Path : /tr069
• Port : 7547

Click on the Apply Change button located at the bottom of DEBUG, as shown in below :

Incase the same issue occurs again your DSL-2730U, please visit the service centre and get your device checked. Dlink also provides door-door service. Call 1800-233-0000 for immediate assistance on the same.

How to configure DSL-2750U as an access point

The following is the procedure to configure your Dlink DSL-2750  as an access point :

• log into the gui (default ip : 192.168.1.1 )
• click wireless > manual wireless connection setup
• give your wireless a network name
• select security mode as WPA
• save setting.
• click setup > lan setup/network settings
• disabled dhcp server
• save settings
• change the router ip address in your network range
• save settings
• power off the DSL-2750U
• connect a lan cable in one of the four lan port from your  main router

• power on and wait for 60 seconds 
• check your connectivity

Unable to LAN devices from wireless devices on DSL-2750U

• Click  download to get the update file and save it in your system 
• Connect to your dlink router via wired lan cable
• Open the gui(default : 192.168.0.1)
